Cambridge May Week

Come ho gia' spiegato, questo 'May Week' e' una tradizione dell'universita', che ormai si festeggia in giugno, non maggio, dopo la fine degli esami. Ci sono molte 'garden parties' dove si beve molto 'Pimms' (una bevanda alcolica molto British), poi le 'May Balls', delle soiree molto eleganti il quale biglietto d'entrata costa circa £120 a testa (caviar, champagne e fuochi d'artificio inclusi) e infine i 'June Events' che sono un po' piu' casual, bastano jeans e camicia se proprio non si ha un'abito da uomo serio, e i vestiti delle ragazze sono piu' corti, invece dell'abito da sera lungo che si mettono ai May Balls.
